Admire Verona from the Castel San Pietro Funicular
In the center of Verona, a few steps from the Roman Theater and the Ponte Pietra, the Castel San Pietro Funicular rises above the rooftops of the city, offering a new and unique view of the Adige River and Verona. It reaches Castel San Pietro and its panoramic terrace through a short 159-meter journey with a 55-meter elevation difference, allowing everyone to enjoy a beautiful view of Verona.
The Castel San Pietro Funicular is open every day, except 25th December and 1st January.
Summer opening hours (April - October): 10:00 am - 9:00 pm
Winter opening hours (November - March): 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Tickets can be purchased at the departure/arrival station, and the cost is:
€ 3 for a round trip
€ 2 for one-way
Reduced fares are available for groups of minimum 15 people, children under 10, adults over 65, residents in the province of Verona. The ticket is free for children 0-1 years, people with disabilities with carer, tour guides, teachers accompanying school children.
