Parco Giardino Sigurtà, the most beautiful park in Italy!

Its endless green spaces alternate with amazing seasonal blooms, such as the now famous Tulipanomania in March and April, when over a million bulbs bloom mottled with the most varied shades. Or the avenue of thirty thousand roses which in May runs for more than a kilometer of walk, under the imposing image of the Scaligero Castle (which stands outside the park but seems to be inside for a special optical effect). On eighteen mirrors of water, brushed with wisdom and value, in the summer hundreds of water lilies and lotus flowers, water hibiscus and papyrus triumph. Panoramic avenues, grassy carpets and enchanting views characterize this corner of greenery, already designated in 2013 as the Most Beautiful Park in Italy, in 2015 as the Second Most Beautiful Park in Europe and in 2018 the fortieth year of opening to the public.

The Labyrinth, inaugurated in summer 2011, after six years of hard work, is today one of the most popular stops for young and old. Born from a project of Count Giuseppe Inga Sigurtà, in collaboration with Adrian Fisher, one of the best known internationally renowned maze designers, this “green” work hosts 1500 yew plants, which draw a path over an area of 2500 square meters. In the center stands a tower that is inspired by that of the Bois de Boulogne park in Paris: from here you can admire the geometries of this point of interest and enjoy a fantastic view of the Aquatic Gardens and the Great Oak which, with its 400 years in age, it represents one of the oldest trees in the Park. Other places of interest are: the Castelletto, the Horizontal Sundial, the Stone of Youth and the Hermitage.
